Jake Morris 31.10.92 – 26.05.23

We are sad to announce that former Grasshoppers / Greyhounds player Jake has passed away recently after a sudden illness aged just 30.

Jake was a product of Bishop Milner Catholic School in Dudley who then went on to study Business at the University of Cumbria at Lancaster.

Despite being a Dudley boy Jake was a product of our M&J section who then progressed to the Colts and Hounds/Hoppers, his first game for the Hoppers being 19/02/11 at home v Bromyard 2’s & celebrated with a try and the Man Of The Match port.

Jake’s funeral is this coming Friday 7th July 11am at Gornal Wood Crematorium DY3 2RL followed by a celebration of his life at The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall at 12.30pm.
