Our senior men's coaching team this season has a strong theme, in that many of them have played for the club for almost quarter of a century!

Jacob John, Adam Sturdy & Richard Thurston have all been part of the fabric of SRFC since the nineties and bring a wealth of experience and respect. Adam who still plays for the First XV at the tender age of 47 has now racked up 358 appearances and his technical nous on scrummaging is of huge value to our team.

Mike Penn continues the lead coach role alongside James Rodley and together they bring a real investment to the squad, both still regularly pulling on the SRFC XV jersey.

Their commitment both on and off the field is without falter and we are excited about what can be achieved for both the First & Second XV this coming season.
