Promotion hopefuls Bridgnorth were sent packing as Stour 2s took a giant step toward promotion to Level 7. Other close rivals Trentham were also defeated by Bromyard, meaning Stour need just 4 points from 4 games to assure finishing top.

A huge performance from lock Tate Skinner was ably supported by his entire pack and James Westwood guided his side expertly from fly half.

Stour showed few nerves in a key fixture and won routinely, BN only mustering some consolation tries near the end, to make the score more respectable.

A double from all action hooker Ben Furber set the standard and further tries from
Skinner, a super charged Harry Wooldridge and speed demon Luke Bimson (with an emphatic grounding) were more than enough.

James Dallison led from the front, as was ever the case, and the only negative was a nasty looking knee injury to lightning quick full back Olly Clare.

Longton at home next week with any win securing promotion with 3 games to follow.

With debuts for Travis and Matt, we played against a mixed team from Moseley Oak, DK, Greyhound RFC and some of our own lads. It was a tight game but Jake Aston crashed over for a late try to get us the win.
Well done all, and thanks to Josh Griffiths Chris Sulley O'sullivan and Alex Walling for helping out the opposition.
It was a fantastic afternoon of proper social rugby.

Congratulations to the Under 15’s ran out as winners when they took on Shrewsbury in the North Midlands Plate quarter final, final score Shrewsbury U15's 0 - Stourbridge U15’s 41.
